You better ask the supplier of your generator. What is more, if you do not have any experience of dealing with this, do not try it yourself as it can be dangerous.

SOURCE: low flame

This problem most likely is with your regulator. if you decide to replace it please make sure you get the right size replacement. Some salespeople dont know the difference there are four common sizes from class 1 to class 4. If you take the old one with you make sure you match the numbers up with a new one.

Hope this helps You

SOURCE: Propane tank with regulator

You're fine using a regulator, just keeps the propane 'regulated' : ) Since you already have it, I'd try the one you have. I'd figure your regulator for the big tank is set for low pressure, really may be fine by itself, but the additional one at the Webber end won't hurt anything. This is a YMMV, try cheapest way first using what you have, not much of a problem to change to the other one if it doesn't work.

SOURCE: cannot conect regulator to small 16.4 oz propane tank

It must have some sort of packing spacer you need to remove from the hose to attach the tank. LOL

Is the outside air temp cold. These generators will backfire if it is real cold and if the propane pressure is low. It is suppose to be 11 to 12 inches of water colume at the generator fuel input. drygwals

All pro SPC 150T propane heater. starts and runs great for 10 minutes and then shuts heat down and blows only cold air. let sit for time and it repeats process.

It is possible that the problem with your All Pro SPC 150T propane heater could be caused by a faulty gas regulator or pressure switch. The gas regulator controls the flow of propane while the pressure switch controls the temperature of the heater. You may need to replace the gas regulator or pressure switch in order to get your heater running again. Additionally, you could also check for any loose connections or clogs in the fuel line.

What kind of regulator do I need coming off my 100 lb propane tank to run this heater

Heaters with a large burner needs a regulator that will deliver a large volume of gas at a pressure to suit the appliance, typically 13 inches water gauge from memory. The gas outlet should be a similar diameter to the heater gas inlet.

Small burners can use a smaller capacity regulator but again the outlet should be a similar diameter to the heater inlet.

The choice of whether to use a fixed regulator or an adjustable is optional. Outdoor appliances are better suited to an adjustable regulator.
A really large burner is perhaps better used with an industrial gas regulator, similar to those used with gas cutting/welding gear...

I hooked a thermador cooktop to a BBQ propane tank. The flames are large for a second and make a puff sound and the shrink to nothing. All 5 burners do the same.

It does sound like a faulty regulator, propane operates at 2.75kpa and if the existing regulator is for natural gas it is only 1.1kpa.
If you are operating off a bulk tank the regulator on the tank may be high pressure then the secondary regulator on the appliance may be to bring it down further. See if you can get a manometer and check it all out before doing any regulator removing.

I have a 40000 btu all pro and it lights but the line freezes up and it starts throwing a large flame out, what is going on ?

Sounds like the regulator is bad or the tank is overfilled. The liquid propane is supposed to vaporize under high pressure within the tank, and the regulator lowers the pressure to feed the burner. It seems that your regulator is getting liquid and it is vaporizing at low pressure in the regulator. When the liquid vaporizes at low pressure it gets super cold.

Connecting the LP Fryer to the propane tank

The gas valve has a regulator on it....but there must be a regulator at the tank that steps it down from tank pressure to operating pressure. Operating pressure for LP is less than 1/2 psi. If you are using this for a trailer....a 40 lb tank would be best.

Briggs and Stratton propane gernerator will not run.

The engine is starved for fuel. Check fuel flow. Possibly a dirty fuel filter someplace in the line or the regulator has low flow.

You can verify this by putting an UNLIGHTED Bernz propane torch into the intake. If that improves it, then low fuel flow is the culprit.

Fuel filters for propane are very fine and can plug up easily. I am not sure where yours are, however I would check at the inout of the regulator for one there for sure.

Hooking up a pool heater to propane.

A pressure regulator and pipe or hose. Whoever is selling you the tank/propane should be able to help you size everything based on the tank hook-up and tank pressure. The heater nameplate will tell you the proper inlet gas pressure that the regulator will need to reduce the tank pressure to.
