My Uniden digital camera model number cud-5m has a black screen

Well, that's a shame, but you will have to replace it sooner or later. There are a lot of pretty accessible cameras nowadays that you can buy, so I don't think there is a reason to hold it. Just pick something you like, and use this service https://cameravs.com/ to compare them and pick the best one for your, with the price that's the closest to your budget. Cameras evolve very fast, so upgrading once in a while may be a good idea.

Explain size 2560 x 1920

Digital photographs are comprised of many small points of color. The 2560x1920 means that there are 2560 such points along the long side of the photo and 1920 along the short side. Since the photo is a rectangle, there are 4,915,200 points of color in total. Marketing rounds this number up to five million, hence the 5MP specification (five megapixels, mega meaning million).

Hi, I would like to get the meanings of 8M, 5M in the picture size settings of the digital camera-Panasonic

The 8M and 5M in the picture size setting is 8 megapixel or 5 megapixel. You can change to a lower i.e 5 M so that you can get more pictures onto the same memory card because the resolutions change and space occupied is also less.
