Replace the drum with a new cleaning blade. Ensure the Drum Density sensor is cleaned. And Paper Jam senor. As you can see its not easy. recommended a tech. or purchase download service manual.

Did you buy a whole new drum unit, or just change the cartridge? If so, the fuse may still be blown. Also, you may need to empty the spent toner out of the old cartridge.
