During the spin cycle of my GE Model #GTW330BMM top loader the clothes become off balanced making the washer rock and move. I have ensured that the washer is balanced, but same result.

Is this a new machine? If this is a new machine then someone might have left the shopping rod in it. Look on the right side and see if its there. If it's not new, it most likely needs the dampers. (Suspension)

When spinning drum is slamming against washers sides. Can this be fixed

This would be an out of balance issue. Level your machine first and then make sure you load it evenly when adding clothes.

NAV5800a top loader washer

The inside of your agitator became worn, and possible strip out the spline that allows the agitator to properly grip the shaft. The loud noise mustly occurs during the spin cycle. If you hear this loud noise your load of clothes may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the clothes, then re-start it.

Danby washing machine noisy only during spin cycle

hi there,

Most noises from a washing machine occur during the spin cycle. If you hear loud thumping/or sound
during the spin, the load of clothes may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and
redistribute the clothes, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary.

Walking during the spin cycle

Try placing it on a rubber mat or carpet that has a rubber backing. The floor may be too smooth and allows it to walk.
