How do I scan to PDF?

Read the quick summary given here when you are struggling to scan to PDF.
1 Connect your printer to the computer using a USB cable or a wireless router.
2 Place the document that you want to scan on the scanner glass.
3 Click the Start menu and then select the option called Fax and Scan that is displayed in the printer shaped icon.
4 Click the New Scan button to open a new window.
5 Open the Scanner section to view the list of scanners if you have connected many.
6 Click the Change button to choose the exact scanner you use.
7 Select the Profile drop-down list and click on either Photo or Documents to choose the document type.
8 Select the Scanner type under the Source drop-down box.
9 Choose the Printer option and select Microsoft Print to PDF.
10 Choose the Printer option and select Microsoft Print to PDF.
11 Click the Save button and then enter the name of your PDF file under the File Name field.
12 Select the Save button to save the file in your desired location.

so what PC is this what OS?
HP now owns samsung printers .
there are only 4 ways,
use w10 print engine way,
use HP way if offered, ask them yet?
or scan to JPG
and use and app to publish jpg to PDF, I use NITRO.
or buy PDF engine driver, to do that.
