Unfortunately, there may not be any Kodak ESP 7250 drivers for Windows 10 available. The printer was originally released in 2010 (based on Amazon's listing) with drivers for Windows XP through Windows 7. The specifications are here: https://www.dpreview.com/products/kodak/printers/kodak_esp7250/specifications . Windows 10 x64 (the common version of the OS) now requires signed drivers. Since Kodak sold most of the company, there is no chance of finding someone to update the drivers for a 13 year old printer.
I wish that I had better news for you. The Windows 7 drivers would work with Windows 8 or the first released version of Windows 10.
This is easily accomplished using Kodak AIO Home Center v5.3:
Scanning documents from Home Center 1 On the main screen, click Scan Documents and Pictures. 2 Place your original document face down on the scanner glass. 3 Select Document. 4 Select the type of document you are scanning. 5 Select a Resolution for your scan from the drop-down list. 6 Select Perfect Page Technology to automatically correct imperfections in the scan. 7 Select Next. 8 On the Edit screen, edit each image as needed. 9 Click Next. 10 Select Save to File, then select Save As (pdf or rtf), Then Save. 11 Select Done to return to the main menu.

On most models there is a pitch switch 10.12.15.PS
you need to match the switch to what print wheel is in the typewriter. most common wheels are 10 or 12
move the switch to that area.
if that is not the problem take out the ribbon, corr. tape & print wheel. tuen on the typ. let it home, put the print wheel & ribbon ( Not the corr. tape) turn on let it home tray typing. if works O.K. put in the corr. tape .
Then you are good to go.
This worked for my Kodak C913...from Kodak Support.
To switch between the Microsoft WIA drivers and the Kodak camera driver: 1. Connect your camera to your computer.
2. Turn on your camera. NOTE: If the WIA drivers automatically detect your camera and display a window for transferring images. Click Cancel to close this window. 3. Open the Device Manager. a. Right-click My Computer and select Properties. b. In the System Properties window, select the Hardware tab. c. Click Device Manager. 4. Click the plus (+) sign to the left of Imaging Devices or Universal Serial Bus Controller, depending on the version of Kodak software installed on the computer. Your Kodak camera should be listed.
5. Double-click on your camera model name.
6. Select the Driver tab.
7. Click Update Driver.

As Cursor mentioned, your use of the term 'retrieve' is confusing. I'm assuming that you want to view these pictures, and that the error you are getting is because you no longer have the program you created the images with installed on the computer. Many imaging programs save their created files in some kind of format (extension) other than .jpg or .gif or .bmp type. The extensions I just mentioned are ones that Windows recognizes and associates a viewer for them. If your Kodak imaging program actually saved them in another type of extension, you should try reinstalling that Kodak program so that its viewer will make the association again....then as you can open each image, click File, Save AS from Kodak's toolbar, and save the image as one of the three file types I've mentioned from the dropdown arrow box (FILETYPE box). This means that you will now have two copies of that image.....one in the extension Kodak used, and one in the extension that Windows can also view for you.
Then if you don't want the Kodak Imaging program installed anymore, after you have saved all of your images in a Windows type of extension, you can uninstall the program and you will still have a copy of the image that Windows will be able to view for you.
I hope I have understood your problem and my suggestion helps you get the images working again.
