The language preference will be under "OSD" in the set up menu. Found a link to the page that is in the users manual for a Skyworth TV -
Skyworth LED 32E60 Instruction Manual Setup Settings
Testimonial: "Thanks, cannot read Asian Language. Everything is written in Asian of some sought...."
When you use the remote to get into the menu settings, a bunch of icons will appear on the top of the screen. The page I linked you to should be similar or the same as the menu on your TV. The selected menu in that image that looks like a clock gear is the set up menu. The first item is OSD Language(on screen display). Use the arrow pad to go left and right until the selected language is English.

When I worked for Philips, I solved one of these. First, try unplugging the unit from the wall outlet for one full minute and see if that alone will reset the unit/restore it to defaults. If not, make sure you have a yellow video connector running from the Bose to your TV rather than another type of video cable - change the tv to the appropriate source channel - now see if the menu will appear. If not, you will have to fly blind (don't mess up): Press the System button, then the right arrow by the Enter key twice, then the down arrow by the Enter key five times, then press Enter. Defaults (including NTSC) will now be restored.
