If you have an Explore One, Explore Air, Explore Air2 or the Maker, the software program, Design Space is not yet advanced to work offline on your computer.
You can do some light editing if you are using an iPad..
Provocraft has promised offline functionality since the current program was released in 2012.
For humor - the CEO recently indicated on social media several times he had over 100 'software engineers' working on Design Space. which is more than NASA had to land on the moon doing everything manually. This is not a complex program
Unfortunately his social media posts are not too accurate. Recently he indicated Provocraft was a very small company and selling their machines at losses and could not afford a school program - while he was encouraging users to take their Cricut to School....keepign in mind you have to use their proprietary software and another graphic program to actually work with most medium to complex projects.
With over $240M in sales in 2018 - and still a private company - not so small and realistically they could never afford to sell that many machines at a loss for very long. Cheap plastic made in China with a 12 mo warranty and no repair or service offered - throw away product.
Like most issues with their software, they are not a software company and do not do well at all - unfortunately.
