SOURCE: mixer tap on the kitchen sink
Hi gt_elijah.
I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.
You want to know if there any way to tighten a faucet on a kitchen sink?
Yes! All faucets have to be secure, but there are as many diferent methods as there are diferent manufacturers. If you are unfamiliar with the diferent methods then you might not recognize the screw, nut, bolt or fitting when you look at it. Also, for many, a special tool is required. It might be wise to have someone local look at it.

There should be an o-ring on the mating surfaces of the hose and the faucet that my be missing. It could also me that the big washer in side of the faucet (under the cartridge) has been shifted.
I doubt it is the cartridge itself, always try the cheap ideas first.
SOURCE: kitchen sink drain is leaking
Yes all can be replaced. They sell complete replacments at Orchards, Home Depot or Lowes. Just make sure you are getting the right parts.
SOURCE: Dishwasher water keeps backing up into kitchen sink then taking a long time to drain from sink
Yes, your sink drain needs cleaning -- it's clogged. Pour some bleach into the sink drains and let it sit for a couple of hours. Flush out with boiling hot water.
If this improves the situation but not completely solving the drain problem, try it again.
If that doesn't solve the problem, remove the P-traps on the sink drains under the sink and clean them out.
If that doesn't work, let me know -- we'll try something else.
SOURCE: Air tank (underneath house) does not push water out of spigot in sinke or refridgerator.
I had the same problem on two different systems. Finally a Culligan lady gave me the answer. The tank should have no more than 7-10 PSI when empty, and when the tank fills up with water, it should register no more than 35 PSI. The bladder inside the tank will expand with high PSI to fill the whole tank thus restricting water to fill the tank. Simply bleed off the air at the valve and set the pressure at 7-10 PSI and you will hear water start filling the tank and within minutes water pure water at your spigot:-)
