Blinking or flashing is normally indicative that you fridge is more modern and has an LED Light instead of a standard incandescent screw-in bulb. If that is the case, the whole LED light and Module needs replacing.
I had the same problem but instead of throwing a couple hundred dollars away I decided to let my lights stay on all the time inside the fridge. All I did was pop the filter switch out so it wouldn't trigger when the door was closed. No more flickering and the hole doesn't irritate me like the rave party inside my fridge did????
