Remove the drum unit then the drum and clean the sensor that monitors the drum. it will have a small with cover the clear cover sensor is for paper jams. be careful do not put your fingers on the drum if that does not fix it order the sensor conteol board the the sensor is mounted on

First check the alignment front and rear of the finisher, check the finisher exit guide rollers if the paper is exiting properly, open both rear and the front cover and check the lower gears attach is the up/down drive belt. that lower gear one might be broken by the pin slot.
