Hi,
You can safely remove the outer shell of a normal microwave oven, by removing the 4, 6 or 8 screws which hold it in place.
It will then be up to you how you repair the dent.
Unless you are very talented, it's actually unlikely that you will be able to remove the dent, although you might be able to make it look a lot better.?

Before you begin any work, make sure you have unplugged the unit from the mains-supply.

Once the cover is off, the potentially dangerous & possibly life-threatening parts are exposed.
DO NOT make any attempt to touch, poke, probe or in any way interfere with the inner-workings.
If you drop a screw, washer or anything else into the inner-workings, taking great car to only touch the outside, physically roll or turn the whole oven over & allow the parts to fall out by themselves.

You could go to whirlpool.com and click ower center and download a maual for your washer,i tried that but it says the model number couldn't be matched

Scratches, flaking and bare spots are fairly common, but should be addressed as soon as they arise so the corrosion will not spread and arcing does not occur.

Unplug the power cord first.

Take some mild sanding cloth or scotchbright and clean the bare and rusted areas in the microwave. Use appliance touch up paint to re-coat the surface. You can find the touch up at most anywhere that sells appliances, it comes in a plastic bottle similar in appearance to fingernail polish, yes it does have a brush inside.

Let it dry per the instructions on the bottle or 24 hours if not specified.
