That would depend on exactly what make and model sub you're using, but one possiblity would be to run it of the 1/4" main output jacks next to the XLR outputs.

SOURCE: Connect xenyx 2442fx to computer

If you want to record in stereo, the quick and dirty way is to get a 1/4 inch stereo to 1/8 inch plug cable and go frrom the headphone output jack. (Use a Wye connector if you need to listen on the phones)

All the other outs are TRS and XLR balanced and the computer audio (mic) inputs are unbalanced. You would need special cables to connect those.

SOURCE: Behringer XENYX 2442FX Mixer. The power light

You have likely lost one, probably the +15 volt power supply... This is possibly a shorted component or a short on the circuit board causing this. It takes some skills at troubleshooting to find this. Sometimes using a thermal imaging camera will show hot spot... other times you have to search with a millivoltmeter. The rude solo light is driven by an op amp that uses both polarities of 15 volts and to turn it on it pulls negative... Hence I suspect the +15 is missing.

You should find pwer supply voltages of +/- 15 volts going to most of the op-amps.
You should find 48 volts for the phantom power source.
You should find 5 volts for the FX DSP or any other logic circuits.
You should find a +12 volt.

Here is a manual close to your unit (yours is an expansion of it):

Run an active subwoofer with a Xenyx 2442fx

Probably the easiest way is to run a balanced 1/4" TRS to XLR Male Interconnect Cable from one of the AUX outputs from your 2442 board.
Here's a link to an example cable: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/BPBQXM20/

Good luck! :)

My Behringer Xenyx 2442Fx does not get power.I have checked the power cable also.Kindly help me out

The switching power supply has probably failed. See if you can get a number off the power supply board like SPS400 or similar. Unless you are electronically adept this is lkely NOT a DIY repair.

I have a Tascam US1641 USB interface and wanted to know if you can connect a Behringer 2442fx to it to use it as a mixdown control for my music in Cubase studio5.

The 2442FX has a built in usb interface so there is really no need to use the Tascam. Here is a link for you:http://www.behringer.nl/EN/Products/2442FX.aspx
