My Westinghouse tv will turn on and stay on the logo screen for about 10 minutes then it will change to a fuzzy green screen. How do I fix this

You have a chip that is overheating due to heatsink coumpound being dried up. You need to find that chip and heatsink and apply new compound to both parts.

I know this isn't what you want to hear, but the problem you've described can't be fixed with troubleshooting. Your TV will have to be repaired. There is a part that has developed a defect and needs to be replaced. If you're still in warranty, the TV will be repaired at no charge to you. The warranty would likely be at least one year from the date of purchase from the manufacturer. If you purchased an extended service plan they will repair the TV at no charge as well.

If the TV is no longer in warranty, it will likely cost a minimum of $150 parts and labor. This is assuming that you only need one circuit board or small part. If the problem is more than one of the circuit boards, the price of repair could go much higher.

The problem is cause by the transformer on LIPS inverter (Power supply + Inverter board). You could see an obvious burn on the 1 of these transformers ( There are total 3 black transformer on this board). The part number is 4302H. I have the same issue. TV is ~ 2 yrs old. Ruled-out cable-box & HDMI cables (green present in menu mode with no cables attached).

Screen turns mostly green, with a crappy picture. After a few days, a normal picture just appeared. Today I powered-on, the green screen stuff came up, then a minute later a good picture for about 20 minutes, back to green-stuff for 10 seconds, then good picture.
