Check the switch and if that is ok then check the solenoid

Testimonial: "Thanks I will. Went out last night and just for kicks hit the start button and it started. Go figure. Still don't know why it wouldn't earlier. Hope it starts today."

It sounds like moisture got in the switch and insulated terminals when it froze. One thing that may help (belie it or not) is spraying. WD40 around the switch as it will help disperse water... Hense the name WD (water dispersant 40th try)

How to winterize a 600 e-tec 2012 ski doo expedition

your manual under the seat should explain how...

Manual says press high/low beam switch rapidly but what they don't say is, which is very important, don't press it so much that it clicks.
As in don't let the hi/lo beam switch click like it normally does when switching from hi to low?

I just fogged both of my etecs for the first time half an hour ago. I clicked the hi/low beam switch all the way rapidly and the "PUSH S" message never showed up. So I went back and switched it VERY RAPIDLY while holding the "S" button and it worked. As soon as "PUSH S" showed up on the display, I pushed the "S" button down until the "OIL" message popped up and it fogged and shut downicon1.png on que.

I friend of mine said he could never get his etec to self-fog. I think he wasn't pushing the hi/lo beam switch fasticon1.png enough for it to engage.

Hope this infoicon1.png helps.
