How to replace battery on Sharp SF-7100 to fix U1 error?

Open right side door and check for a jam in the fusing unit (the one that is normally hot). Remove jam carefully. Hit P * C * and enter 14. Push the start button like you are making a copy. Machine should reboot and code should not return. if it does, you may have a dirty themistor, or blown lamp.

It's hard to be sure because our model numbers are different but drum reset should be 24-7 and dev reset should be 24-6. Good luck

Hello sir; It can be reset by power on and open the front door, press and hold exposure key while you closing front door.

The heater lamp isn't coming on either because of blown heater lamp or thermostat reset itself . Clean the thermistor and replace any of the above defective part.Then press C, 0, 0, C and press 14 press READY.
