Hey ReeseB,

I was wondering are you still willing to sell your Dell 2300 MP for parts? If you are then I would be interested in buying your color wheel. This is the wheel that is attached in front of your lamp. It has a mirror with different colors on it that spin. If you still don't know what i'm talking about email me back and I'll be more specific. My email is [email protected]

My guess is the sleeve bearings in the fan motor need oil. I use teflon based oil.

Vivitar 3000af slide projector

While I am not sure of this feature on the Vivitar projectors, extensive testing has proven that running the cooling fan to accelerate cooling of a projection lamp will significantly shorten the lamp life. It is always recommended that (if possible) the projector system is cooled to room temperature without the fan running. Also, it is recommended not to move the projector until the lamp is completely cooled, as the lamp filament is extremely fragile when hot.

Projector powers on but bulb doesn't light up. Changed bulb, still doesn't work. Tried original bulb in other projector, works fine.
