My hotel has Onity HT22 system. Guest keys are NOT disengaging after check out (so guest is able to go right back into room later on!)
The guest keys should have an "End" date. For example if a guest stays one night the key should be set to expire on hour after check out time. You can also set a new key and once key is used anywhere on site the old key is disabled automatically.
Hello, Kristin -
I assume you own or manage the hotel where the key card problem exists. If so, contact the manufacturer of the key card system

Best wishes.

see front desk ask for two new keys one for you and your guest. providing it's the card type they can program new codes ,leaving the lost key and your old key inoperable, or they might reprogram your old key .. ether way it's a simple fix .. jay the pump guy florida

There is no missing dollar. 25 went to clerk, of the remaining 5, 3 went back to guests and 2 to bellhop. Total 30
