I am going to replace my existing C1100 with a new one which will be supplied without toner cartridges. How do I remove all the existing cartridges which have a lot of toner in them to be able to put them in the new printer?
It took me some time but I found the sollution:
Remove the powercord from the printer.
Open the front door and remove the first toner.
Close the front door and open the top door, remove the photo conductor.
When the front door is closed, you can turn the toner trommel and move it so that the second toner gets in the remove position.
Open the front door and remove the toner.
Close the front door and turn the trommel.
Repeat those steps until all are removed.
Same model unit read the owners manual to install thenreversit to remove it fro the old one... If not the same model well good luck they are different
Replace Toner with gen cartridge.
Or Take cartridge back as faulty after checking that it was opened and installed correctly.
Check display on printer for indications that maybe it needs one of the 3 colour toners indicators are Y,C or M
K is black
