Is tray 2 OK?
Any paper stuck behind the draw. Check the setting off draw one in user mode is it for that size paper?

The easiet way is to open all trays and load the bypass and tell the machine you loading 8.5 x 11 on bypass.

You can also set it on any tray within the menu of the copier under paper > then select tray > then change paper tray settings. Usually it is set to auto. but you can change bypass to what ever size you want with respect to the spec of the machine.

minumum size for the bypass is 3.5x5.5 and max is 11x17
minimum, for the paper trays is 5.75x8.25 and the max is11.5x16.5
so it should run 5.5x14 in the bypass tray
1 load the paper in the bypass tray
2 in the basics screen touch paper
3 select the button for the bypass tray
4 touch change setting
5 select custom size and program the size

Reports and confirmations will only print from tray 1, Have you tried putting letter size paper in tray 1 and using tray 2 for legal size?

the fold function is only available when the option finisher fs-608 is installed . here is the steps to make a trifold on a fs-608.
1 open a one page document it can only be 8.5x11 in size.
2 click file then print and pick the konica c550 in the printer name box. click properties.
3 in the output method select print leave the paper tray on auto leave the paper size on same as original click original size to indicate 8.5x11click on the radio dial to indicate portrait under original orientation.
4under the layout tab leave the following fields blank-combination,rotate 180,skip blank pages,binding margin and image shifton the right side of the layout screen leave print type as one sided and binding direction on auto.
5 under the finish tab leave paper arrangement at its default= prioritize arranging papers.make sure there is a check mark in the fold box and select trifold in the drop down menu.
6 click ok and go to the c550 to retrieve the document

Utility-Meter count-Stop-0-Stop-0-0-1 Paper size input :set the paper size used in each paper source.Touch the key of paper sorce for wich the paper size setting is to be changed to show the paper size input screen.Touch the desired paper size keys.Touch END to validate the paper size setting.
Please look the mechanical setting in the trays.If so need,change.

The printer is setting the size from the position of the tray guides.

If it is reading it as K16 then that is the closest size to the paper you have loaded. The device will oook at the tray and then set it to the closest match this is the function of the Auto size feature.

Try measuring the paper and entering it as a custom size instead. Mimic the setting through the driver of course.

Run it through the bypass tray and be sure to specify the stock type/weight for proper printing.

Check all your paper tray make sure all side guide are set properly to the size of your paper. Check the front on the right side there is a paper size nob and set to the size of the paper in the tray next to it. A sheet 8.5x11 paper on four side edge of the paper make an arrows marking and place it to platen glass and make copies and make sure to choose which paper tray you are using. The marking all should be in all four corner of the copies. if not recheck the paper tray side guide. if this did not work. what ever paper tray is off registration, removed the the paper and lift the pressure plate or lift plate there is two screws to loosen to adjust rear and front paper side guide.
