Set proper time on my fitbit - Exercise & Fitness

You set the date and time from the Fitbit App or Fitbit Connect when you setup or sync the fitness band with the computer/tablet. Open the Fitbit Dashboard and then tap (or click) the Account icon. Enter the Advanced Settings menu and check the Time Zone section. If needed, turn off the Automatic option and manually set the current time zone. The Alta will display the date and time based on the time on your computer/tablet when you synced the devices. it's usually set automatically through sync with your Bluetooth device. If it's not displaying the proper time due to air travel or something else - re-boot the fitbit and the device is syncs with.

Note that only setting the time zone can be done manually. The specific time is derived by syncing with the primary device, not the fitbit.

Editing your timezone settings. Log into your dashboard at fitbit.com and click the gear icon in the upper right corner of your dashboard. Choose Settings > Personal Info and find the Time section. Choose your timezone and select your 12-hour or 24-hour display preference.Mar 10, 2015
