SOURCE: threading a sewing machine

What do you mean you are unable to pull the bobbin thread through, elaboration would help solve the problem...
I suspect I'm having the same problem with you if it's anything to do with the top thread looping around in the bobbin holder.

Damn machine!

SOURCE: need help to thread our sewing machine.

you really must get a manual for this machine.
You can find manuals online for a small price.
At one time some sites had them for free, but I haven't been able to find many recently. sewusa.com has some older ones for free. but not many. you could try the kenmore site as well, if not I'd try to search on dogpile.com (sewing machine manuals)
Just so you know, your manual is the MOST important tool for any sewing machine, and its worth a couple of bucks to get it.

SOURCE: thread balls up in the bobbin/singer sewing machine, also thread

The balance stitch control on this model is below the stitch patterns; to the far right.

If you need a manual you can download a free one at the Singer Company website.

Purchased a black Keystone vintage sewing machine H66/80900. Made in Japan. Seeking age, manual & threading guide. Thank you in advance for your help.

Wonder if it is a "badged" machine. There were a lot made in Japan post-WWII. I have one called Premier DeLuxe, but they must have had a thousand names for the machines they made. Not worth a lot of money (for selling) but most are good, heavy sewing machines that can stitch through a lot of things current machines can't.

Even though the following is not your particular model, the process is very similar from one machine to another, so what you aren't able to get from the above links, you may get from these. Be sure to ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot when threading the top thread so the thread will seat properly.

How to thread the Nelco A2?

To find a user's manual, search the internet for:

With your Nelco, be sure that you install the needle properly. Frequently, Nelco machines take the needle with the flat side facing toward the throat of the machine--not toward the read like most other machines. The upper thread will thread through the needle's eye from the left toward the right. They also are a left needle position machine--meaning, the standard position of the needle when sewing straight stitch is at the left side of the presser foot, not center like most other machines.

I am having alot of trouble finding info for my white e-6354this is a vintage machine I realize but I can't get the top thread to pick up the bobbin thread

Rethread your machine, making sure your needle is not bent or dull, and please make sure that your presser foot is not sitting flat against the needle plate. Make sure you thread needle with flat side behind and the more rounded side facing you.
Lift the presser foot so that it will open the tension disks.
I hope this helps.

I just got a Vintage Singer 600E sewing machine and it came with instructions on how to thread it but not how to get started sewing. I don't know how to bring up the thread from the bobbin to start sewing....

Hold onto the needle thread, turn the drive wheel, on the right side of the machine, until the needle goes down & back up. the bobbin thread should be caught in the loop of the needle thread. Pull it all the way out of the bobbin. and you are ready to sew.
