What changed the fax to auto reception but it answers after 1 ring, I looked thru the GUI but I couldn't see anywhere to change this trival setting (unless I missed it?) - how is this accomplish? I am no longer onsite and will have to explain this to someone onsite. :(
What you are looking for is the Ring Count Delay.
Unfortunately it looks as though this is not an option for this unit.

"user tools", scroll to....."fax features", scroll to "setup", scroll to "no. of rings"
Set the appropriate number of rings to not conflict with Voice mail, etc...usually 4 will do, but just test the phone and fax after you set it up, to make sure it is ok. You can test it by calling it from your cell phone, or a land line (on another line), in other words, you don't have to wait for a fax, just dial the fax number and see when the fax picks up, then try the phone number etc.
