If this IS a CLP-510, first make an information confirmation print.
Press MENU, then press ENTER, and ENTER again.
Look at the counter for the imaging unit, is it a low count confirming that you have indeed replaced it ?
If not you will need to reset the counter.
Check the counters for the toner cartridges, and check the capacity of the cartridge. On a CLP-510 the image counter for the toner is held on the chip on the cartridge (which also identifies the capacity of the cartridge).
There have been some faulty (oiginal Samsung chips), and of course re-manufactured cartridge chips could fail (many re-manufacturers don' test their cartridges before dispatch, they don't have the facility to do so without starting the count on the chip (or 'bowing' the reset fuse on a CLP-500 cartridge). VERY few re-manufacturers can test these cartridges without starting the count.
Sometimes the 'replace xxxxx toner' messages are caused by toner on the three contacts on the side of the cartridge, or their mating contacts inside the printer. Rarely, this can be caused by a faulty circuit board.
SOURCE: Invalid Imaging Unit and Toners
Sorry about my last post. I didn't realize that it would be placed unter solutions. BUT I did get a resolution from Samsung. They passed me to the advanced team and they suggested I use a special code they gave me to reset all the machine. As I said before the machine was giving me an error that all the toners and the imaging unit were invalid. Samsung said to try this and if it didn't work they would send me a new (refurb) unit. They said to press in sequence <menu><#><1><9><3><start (b&w)> then when the unit cycles it will ask to imput the country, in my case I entered the US. The machine will then reset itself and all the cartridges and imaging unit should be reset to work. IT WORKED!! The machine said to wait while it re-installs the toners. When it did the red warning light turned off and the printer is working great. Hope this helps.

if you've refilled the cartridge, you'll have to reset the toner count also to zero...to do this, download the firmware here
http://org.downloadcenter.samsung.com/downloadfile/ContentsFile.aspx?CDSite=in&CttFileID=2238869&CDCttType=FM&ModelType=N&ModelName=ML-1640&VPath=FM/200904/20090416100856890/ML-1640_V1.01.00.83.exe
run it and it will reset your toner count to 0...you have to do this everytime you refill your toner.
The firmware for 4300 is not available on the Samsung site, you'll need to google for it.

I am having the same problem, and I am using the original toner cartridges that were supplied with the printer, so yes, they are genuine Dell toner cartridges.
