Do a hard reset, and check. To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight; will be better. Gopakumar Gopalan Google

The codes are dependent on the remote so you'd have to also list the remote name and model, however, this is what Soniq wrote to another user with the same problem: Hi, we do not have the remote code for universal remote control. We recommend our customers to use a genuine SONIQ remote because some universal remotes are not compatible with SONIQ TVs and they may not have all the special buttons required. Please call our spare parts team on 1300 765 663 and they will be able to assist you further. Thanks.

Just spoke with Soniq's help line in Australia. They gave me the instructions below. I have not tried them yet as I have boxed up the TV already and I am moving out of the region. Good Luck.

Unlock instructions for Soniq L37V11B

1. Turn on TV
2. Set to DVD Mode
3. Press Open/Eject
4. Leave DVD door open
5. Press 5168 on remote
6. This should open a Factory Menu, scroll up/down to Region Settings
7. Change Region to 0, press Enter
8. Press Open/Eject on remote to close the DVD door.

I have been repairing Plasma Tvs for some 3 years now and have found most of the problems caused are by Capacitors.Once again Soniq are no different to the others.The fault is on the main Video Control Pcb.Replace Capacitor C529 which is a 470mfd25v.This cap is mounted next to an inductor coil at the top middle of the pcb.This Pcb is the one which has the tuner and all inputs on it.
