SOURCE: Front Load Washing machine won't spin, drain or rinse

if you have a shop vac this is time to vacuum the water of the tub and all the way down the drain hole for the next stage usally i tell customers to remove the drain hose from the stand pipe and vacuum the water out of the washer from the drain hose but because of the pillow this might not work in your case. Now remove the two screws on the front lower panel and pull the panel
in side you will see the drain pump if you did not have a shop vac go to the auto parts store and buy a pair of radiator hose clamps and clamp the hose line as close to the washer as possible.(but put down some towels as water always stays there) then pull the tub to pump hose by depressing the squeeze clamp(now while your at the auto parts id get a screw clamp to replace the spring clamp it makes putting the hose back on a lot easier)pull the hose off. Then pull the pump to drain hose off .Remove the two 5/16 in screws securing the pump to the washer base.Unplug the connector and remove the pump inspect the pump for foreign objects, broken or stripped impeller blades . if the impeller are stripped you will have to replace the pump then form the front of the washer take a piece of water hose with one end cut off and run it down the pump to drain end of the drain and reassemble the unit

With an error code.
This can reset the system.
First unplug the washer and wait a 5 minutes then restart it.
If you can't reach the plug, use the breaker to cut the power for 5 minutes.

It's like rebooting your computer when its acting strange!
Usually it corrects some error problems if they are not serious.
Or they are sometimes just a glitch.

YOU CANNOT RESET ERROR CODES ON APPLIANCES BY MERELY UNPLUGGING THEM FOR 5 MINUTES. MOST MANUFACTURERS RECOMMEND AT LEAST 30 MINUTES IF YOU GOING TO ATTEMPT TO TRY TO RESET A COMPUTERIZED CONTROL BOARD. STOP POSTING THIS INFORMATION INCORRECTLY.

SOURCE: FRONT LOADER DOOR LOCK WONT OPEN OR JAMMED

On a Bosch wfmc3200uc there is a green plastic string, similar to fishing line, located behind the round panel on the front of the machine. It is attached to the top right of the round black piece. Just give a slight tug this will release the lock.

Why can not open front loading washing machine after washing cycle copleeted.washing machine model siemans wash &dry 3120

This is because ot door interlock system - the door interlock is a device that is designed to give a time delay before the door of a washing machine can be opened.

If the door doesn't unlock at the end of the cycle at all (even after 10 min) then there could be a problem with the interlock or with the drain pump (water left in the machine). You can lean more about the most common washing machine faults here - https://www.justfixed.co.uk/washing-machine-problems/

Hope this information is helpful.

Door of my LG washing machine(front load) is not opeining, Pls advise how to open it, Thanks

If there is water in the machine above a certain level, it will not allow the door to be opened.
To open the door, Open the hatch to the drain pump at the lower left front of the washing machine. If there is water in the machine and you can't put machine in drain, then you can detach the drain hose and drain the water into a container.
make sure that power is disconnected.
With the hatch open, remove the screws holding the red plastic handle in place. Pull the handle and the door will open. Put the handle back into its slot and put screws back in place.

Washing finished it's cycle and now the door won't open. Is there a manual overide to open it? How do we get our washing back?

If there is still water in the washing machine above a certain level, it will not allow the door to be opened.

Check the drain pump while you're there to make sure it is free of foreign objects

Bosch washing machine won't drain and the door won't open.

Sounds like you have a blocked pump.To empty the machine manually lower the drain hose into a bowl or bucket.Once emptied the door should open.On most modern machines there will be a filter behind the kick plate at bottom front of machine, Check this for any foreign objects then try a spin before putting on again. If problem persists come for further options.

Asko 10505 - wash finished, door won't open

it is most likely your machine may have a draining problem. if it cant drain the water out the door wont open. if you open the small door at the front bottom of the machine you will find the little black drain hose. unplug the hose off the door and drain machine. when the machine is empty try powering on and opening the door. if still no luck you will see (in the same location) a red pull ring. undo the screw holding the ring in position and gently pull until the door releases. it would be worth undoing the button trap lid to access the pump and check for any blockages (most common coins **** pins etc) let me know how you get on.

Door on washer will not open

Select Drain/Spin to remove any water remaining in the washer. The washer door wil unlock at the end of the spin. The washer door will not unlock if the unit has not drained.
