SOURCE: reset?

Okay, I did what the best solution did and worked with it.

"1. press 2nd F (left top corner)
2. ENG/FIX (the button next to 2nd F)
3. press 0 (if you don't want calculator to round off any decimals)"

In order to get your exact value of pi, in step #3, instead of 0, press the decimal [ . ]
This should give you no decimals when entering a number and give you 3.141592654... when you input pi.
Hope that works/helps.

SOURCE: Default decimal settings

Your BA II PLUS stores numeric values internally to an accuracy of 13 digits. However, the numbers it displays depends on the number of decimal places to which you have it set (choice of 0–9 or floating decimal). To set the number of decimal places displayed to three: hit [2ND][FORMAT][3][ENTER]This setting also continues indefinitely (even though the calculator is turned off and on) until it is changed.

To do this you need to set your calculator to a fixed decimal value. You can do this by Pressing 2nd + FIX (decimal point) and then setting it to 0 decimal places. This will round a number to the nearest whole number.

I don't get the right results when I hit compute. Is there a way to fix that ??

This could be a result of a rounding error. Make sure that the calculator is set to at least 5 decimal places.

In order to do this, press [2nd][Format].
Type in the number of decimals to be displayed (0-9) and push [Enter].
To specify a floating point decimal, enter '9'.

MY TI nspire always rounds numbers to the first decimal place. (EX 23.7 instead of 23.74)

Turn it on, hit MODE then change the FLOAT value from 1 to Float itself. Float allows you to round, and something changed that setting
