Dstv, I have sound but no picture, how can this be fixed

If you're not getting any sound from your DSTV decoder when connected to your Aim 60 Inch Digital UHD TV via HDMI, there are a few things you can try:

delete the DSTV app, reboot and install it again. Also make sure the television firmware and software is up to date.

AV cable issue.Replace it

check the picture board or the back light if all bolbs are well working

Go into the settings and change the input until you see the picture and have sound

look on the TV menu for (system) in south africa we use PAL, if you cant change it on the TV, with the decoder remote press menu then 7 then 4, it will ask for a pin code press 9-9-4-9 it will read "RF modulator" press OK, it will then read 1 MODULATION press ok again and it will highlight PAL I now press the right key and press OK, if this persists then the decoder it probably faulty... good luck
