You can usually find a manual if you Google for the make and model, but I could not find one, so you need to contact Conair. There should be a Contact Us on their web site.
Take globe out and put back in again. If that doesnt work place a little bit of foil between the bottom on the globe and the connection. Fingers crossed it works
My mirror is not like the picture shown. I have a True Reflections mirror by Conair with two sides and changes shades for what kind of light I want, I just wanted to know what are the two whit things that fell out of the mirror when I took it apart to change the bulb? There are two squares that appear to be batteries of some kind and the two things that fell out were near them. but I have no idea where they were.exactly or it they are necessary. Can anybody help me figure that out? Thanks! J. Burke
Here are the instructions, basically you remove the screws on each side and then on side will lift off. I used a flat head screw driver to work around seem until it lifted off. Hope this helps. http://www.conair.com/instruction_booklets/06PM8043%20BE18NX.pdf
The two sides do come apart but tend to stick. Pull the magnifying mirror apart from the mirror that is attached to the stand. You may need to budge it a little on one side and then the other to get it to come free, but it will.
