I'm trying to download VIDEO CAM SUITE 2.0 to my comp with Windows 10 home edition. Installing starts and I have a message: "THIS APPLICATION DOES NOT SUPPORT THIS OPERATING SYSTEM. THE INSTALLATION WILL BE TERMINATED." what should I do? Im not computer savvy .. but I have a so many memories on that camcorder that I can't afford to loose it. Any help is welcomed.

I have the same issue. Searching the net reveals many others also have the problem. It is such an unsettling issue, it is amazing how many commentators on so many different sites fail to see what the issue is as outlined by the OP.

Depending on the output connections of the camera, it sounds like it’s well past time to transfer those memories on VHS to dvd or even better, to a USB device.
Look around for options depending on the format you wish to use.
Beware though that even DVD’s are on the ‘past it’ list. So look for a device that can connect to your pc via usb to your camera.
If that is not possible then I remember there used to be VHS players with a DVD option that you could record to from the VHS.
Failing all of the above, you can easily find someone that locally advertises this exact service.
Research, research....hope I helped a little.

Maybe you could set up a dual boot system using Windows 7, and install via that. Alternatively, is it possible to install using compatability mode ?

Try and get a later version of the video cam suit as the one you have may not be compatible with win 10
read the system requirements for the video cam suite 2.0 that you have and it will say win xp, vista ,7, 8 but if there is no win 10 mention , that is why you are getting the message

My panasonic camcorder is sdr-h40 i can't load my videos in to my pc sence i've upgrade my computer from windows xp to windows 7 my sd card/hard disk video camera software video cam suite 1.0 is not...

Hi, the VideoCam software isn't compatible with Windows 7, but you can still copy videos and pictures to your computer and edit or view them with other software. Videos are saved by default as MPEG-2 files, and photos are saved as JPEG files -- both of these formats are recognized by a wide variety of programs. (For example, Microsoft's Picture Viewer, which comes with Windows, can display JPEGs, and Microsoft Office Picture Manager can edit them.)

Video Cam Suite 1.0 does not work with Windows Vista 64 bit

Excuseme If I don't explain so clair, because I don't speak english well, but let me try that I did to solve this problem. First I installed a Virtual Machine(VMware Workstation 6.5.1) in miy Pc(64 bits) . Second, I installed a Windows Vista home basic(32 bits) or Windows XP Sp2 (32bits) on it., depending of what Operative sistem do you have in your real machine. And finally I could installed the Videocam suit in the Virtual Machine and everything was ok. I could transfer all my videos of the camera to the pc very easy The only inconvenient is that you need to transfer the videos downloaded of the virtual machine to the real machine with a flash memory or similar something.

Try right clicking on the installation .exe and clicking Properties. There might be a tab that says Compatibility. Click that and choose XP or XP/SP2 from the list and press apply.

Hope this helps
