SOURCE: tail rotar

Yes - it matters for any heli.

The main rotor creates drag which makes the heli want to spin - the tail rotor pulls the heli in the opposite direction to compensate and keep it steady.

Look at the angle of the main rotor in regard to the direction it turns - you'll see how it 'pulls' upward. The tail rotor will need to 'pull' sideways, according to whichever direction the tail rotor is spinning.

I'm assuming you're reattaching a tail rotor or rewiring a motor?

SOURCE: I have a UJ 420 infrared remote control helicopter

Have you checked for any hairs or debri trapp-ed on the rotar shaft
sorry have to ask the silly questions check for voltage at wire terminals
some of the controls have automatic kill switch should they become binded up with something check that rotor is not installed to deeply on the shaft
could also be a short circuit in the remote itself good luck James

SOURCE: We broke the tail rotor

Hi munozcowan,

What you need to do is to use your email account to contact [email protected] and give them a description of your problem.

They are probably going to have you go to http://www.iwaveaudio.com/support.asp and fill out an RMA request which is just your address and the like.

I went through this and my RMA request was denied because I did not have a reciept to attach to the form as I had recieved the Copter as a gift.

I sent them another email saying that I just wanted a parts manual to order from but have not heard back from them.

Have Heart! it is my thought that if you do have a reciept, they may give you an address to send the machine to for repair or possibly send you a replacement.

It seems tail motor is not working.
S107 knows to come with faulty tail motor.

If you open pilot cabin, you should see blue and red (or green and red) wire. See if they are welded on the motherboard.
If they are, then tail rotor is not working properly.

What is the tail rotor in helicopters?

The tail rotor is a piece at the back of the helicopter that keeps the helicopter from spinning by blowing air sideways. It also helps the helicopter to turn.

Helicopter is unbalanced

Hi. This is called "talk" its when the helicopter starts spinning instead of the blades, remote control helicopters and real ones.To stop this from happening you need to make sure the tail Rotor is going correctly OR probely the best thing to do would be take it back to the shop and get a hole new one.
