You could have a restriction in the tub spout or just too much pressure. Diverter only restricts flow to tub spout so any restrictions to the tub spout will cause water to go up to shower head.
Did you replace the seats and springs under the cartridges, Delta part number RP4993. These are the more important parts to replace when your Delta faucet is dripping from the spout.
I have a Hansa pullout kitch faucet that leaks out of a hole in the
back when faucet is shut. Is this a bad backflow preventor and how do I

ooops, didn't mean for that to be a request, sorry...It was a solution. Although, if you dont want to deal with Moen, you can get one at your local plumbing suplly store. I recommend taking the old one with you (make sure you shut the water off first!). Again, good luck

They told me they are shipping the cartridge to me today at no cost ("lifetime warranty") and they immediately emailed a part diagram of the whole Fontaine NF-VCTST-BNV-TSRVH Single Handle Pressure Balanced Tub and Shower Trim and Valve with Rain Showerhead (from the Monaco Series).
