Go to google translate and press the menu button on your camera. Type in language and translate into english. You should be able to highlight the proper sub menu to change the setting from there.

I find it amusing for the Olympus Camedia C-3020 producers to make a product that can be read by the Japanese alone.....Digital cameras should supposedly "Globally" useful.....Maybe I need to go to Japan and study Japanese first.... Thanks anyway for trying.....

The important thing to note is that irrespective which language its in, the menu choices are the same in all languages. i.e. if menu choice one is <data> in english, its the same in Japanese - even if it looks like a stream of rather pretty characters.

Menu language is dealt with on page 29 of the manual. It looks like a simple change if you recognise the icons they have used.

With the camera turned on, press the MENU button. Use the left/right arrows to move to the Setup2 tab (tools with the number 2). The language setting is the first item on this menu. With the first item highlighted, press the SET button. You should see fifteen languages displayed on the LCD. Using the arrow keys, scroll to ENGLISH then press the SET button. Press the MENU button again to exit.
