Locked to Region 4 - need multi-regional play
The way to hack a Blu Ray player could be very different from model to model. Fortunately, there is a place where you can find exactly how to hack the Blu-Ray player to make it region free, and that is the VideoHelp forum. Go to the forum, and then go to the DVD hack section.
Also, you can use Leawo Blu-ray Copy to make a DVD copy without region code so that it can be played by all DVD players.
Power ON with NO disc inside:
Press PAUSE on the remote-control
Press 3,1,4,1,5,9 in sequence using the remote-control
Press 0 on the remote to select Region Free
Press PAUSE again to save
Power OFF then Power ON.
Done.
Locked to region 2. I have just bought a brand new LG DP132H DVD player. I would like to read DVD's bought in the USA. Your hack doesn't work, no screen appears after sequence 3,1,4,1,5,9. Any clue ? Thanks beforehand. Jacques

Just Follow these steps:
1. Turn on dvd player
2. Then it comes up NO DISC
3. Enter No 314159 using remote
4. Code displays on screen, press 0 and then pause
then turn off thats it.

Scroll to 'Lock' (don't scroll sideways from here)
press '0' seven times
press 'Enter'

1. Power on (NO Disc.)
2. Press Pause
3. Enter 314159(with remote)
Display will show "FF"
4. Quickly press "0" (for all region)
5. Press pause
6. Power off and powere on after 20 secs.
