1. In standby mode,press the "Settings/Registration" key.
2. Press the"Reset" key.
3. Press the"Back" key.
4. Press the"Settings / Registration" key.
5. The service modescreen is displayed.
6. Scroll to Printerthen choose Clear
Use the"Back" key to exit Service Mode

Hey there, I had the same error code on a diagnostic scale from SilverCrest. I simply opened what I could, removing the plastic around the "feet" and then gently blew with an hair dryer inside. It seems that some sensor detects humidity so it fixed it for me. Took two minutes top. Please avoid buying new things as soon as there is a minor issue, let's save the planet !

3. Liquid (perhaps perspiration) is present on the surface of a touch sensitive display.

1. Remove the keypad connector cable from the upper PCA. Restart the power up sequence, if
the ERROR 5 is no longer present, the keypad is the cause. The keypad is typically part of
the display housing. Replace the display housing to correct the problem.
2. Remove the keypad connector cable from the upper PCA. Restart the power up sequence, if
the ERROR 5 is still present, the upper PCA is the cause. Replace the upper PCA to correct
this problem. Most upper PCA's are provided without software. Therefore, the software (chip)

Error code POWV5 refers to a problem with the 5 Volt dc supply to the Digital/Audio PCB. If it's not a loose conection then the Main PCB is normaly the problem.

This error code is displayed if the control failed to save cycle information during a power failure. This does not generate an error code beep.

Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display.
And if needed unplug for 5 minutes to reset the system
