Does the Soniq S55v14B have a firmware update

Eventually the updates stop as the hardware becomes dated to any new software version. The idea is that you update the television.

Onsce you try simple fixes such as unplugging the TV and after 30 seconds, plugging it back in you can try rebooting the router if such is connected to it. I just kill the power to the TV and the router, wait, and turn them back on from a power strip. If that doesn't work and you don't have weak batteries in the remote, the fix gets a lot more heady. You may have to contact Soniq support if the page referred to above does not lead to your model.

It is 12 years old and looks like Firmware updates have dropped out.

What makes you think you need to update the firmware, that isn't a common thing to have to do?

Then it's not a very smart TV, is it? (Just Kidding). Make sure power socket has 110V. You may have popped a house fuse. Then try turning on TV with it's remote. If no power via remote and if house fuse is on... and TV is brand new, it may be defective. If TV is under warranty, call number on warranty card. // Ps... Some newer devices will only power on with it's remote.
