System fan on MSI A55m-p33 not spinning

do not hotswap any parts inside any PC,
unplug the PSU AC cord from the AC wall jack
wait 15 min, then worn on he PC.
hot swapping parts, is never wise. (PC rule not true on servers)
fans are BIOS controlled do not flash blos on a whim.
to make BIOS find a fan any fan or ram, etc.
old boot it from no power at all, AC not connected
then connect fan or other things, drives, ram etc.
then put back AC power
the hold power button for 10 seconds and release
now bios can do its job, to PnP all devices on the mobo,.
learn that the PC simply turned off is not off
+5vdc, standby power is there, all the time so learn to make it go dead first, or blow up things you will.
the fans are not hotswap rated, at all. nor ram nor drives.
yes sata drives can be hot swapped if all 4 things are correct.
and are not here. on my real server yes.
learn to service PC safely.

Boot problems

SOURCE:No boot No video on new built pc with a msi motherboard a55m-p33 amd, three beeps at start up.
Hello here is the homepage:

http://www.msi.com/product/mb/A55M-P33.html#/?div=Driver&os=Win8%2064

Here is a list of beep codes:

http://www.computerhope.com/beep.htm

Tree beeps means you have a ram module failure, or not inserted correctly.

This mainboard uses DDR3 ram, up to 16 gb.

Try to start with only one module at the time.

Try also to check the manual:

My windows time is getting slow gradually. What should i do ?

Hi,
There could be two reasons for the same,
1. The coin cell battery is drained and need a replacement
2. The motherboard software (BIOS) has gone bad , would require an update .

The following link is the BIOS update link for the motherboard. Before update make sure , all external peripherals except the keyboard and mouse has to be disconnected . Also verify the the existing version of the BIOS
http://www.msi.com/product/mb/K8MM-V.html#/?div=BIOS

If the above steps donot help, Then the motherboard needs to be replaced.

System reboots when acpi turned off

Hi martinkp, what you need is the update from windows. Leave you're acpi enabled withing the bios. Check windows update. Windows will update (windows software for the acpi). Rule of thumb concerning windows update. Check the dates of the updates & install in order, oldest to newest. This should fix you're system from shutting down. There will be no reason to turn off acpi after updating.
