The egg whites will act as a leavening but fruitcake is known as a dense,rich,heavy cake and thin slices are the normal serving size.

Does anyone know how to make cake balls? I am fairly new to cooking, so I need a lot of detailed instructions.

Here is a link to a YouTube video that shows you how to make cake balls. The instructions begin with a cake that's already made but you can use a store bought cake mix and you don't need to bake one from scratch.

For casings your humidity level should be 92h dropped to as low as 82h during fruiting.
