The Thermistor has failed or is failing. It is the temperature sensor that is basically your electronic thermostat.

Diagnosis: Thermistor 1 is open

Explanation: The U-Line refrigerator error code ER is alerting you to a failed thermistor. Thermistors are used for various temperature readings. These provide reliable temperature readings using a resistance which varies based on surrounding temperatures. If you have a U-Line wine cooler, for example, it will include ambient temperature surrounding the refrigerator unit.
If the thermistor 1 fails, the refrigerator will continue to operate on a preset 10 minutes on and 30 minutes off time interval.

Solution: Use an accurate ohm meter to test the thermistor. If the thermistor is defective, have it replaced.

how old is it thay usely last a year or so set it tovery cold

Does the compressor vibrabte? If not, the PCB isn't working and should be replaced or worst case is your compressor burned out.

the odds are your door gasket is leaking.

Make sure that you have enough air flow around the unit and that the grill on the bottom is clean and free of dust/pet hair ect..also take into consideration of the location of the unit... make sure it is not next to a heated appliance like a dishwasher or range. and remember that it is not a frig it is a wine cooler so it will not get really cold.... if it has a glass front make sure it is not sitting in direct sunlight for extend periods of time as this will cause the unit to run excessively. I hope this helps.. I hate warm wine..

You have either a week connection or a bad thermostat. Check your connections. Part # 2767-s

Hi!! I'm a uline authorize servicer and yes the repair man is right. you have a leak in the evaporator..remember make sure to call uline ans see if you have warranty on your seal system of the wine cooler..good luck..

If nothing runs but the light is on then change the thermostat. #2767-1 and you can find a part from a distributor. To find one visit www.u-line.com and under customer service you will see parts locator

could be a thermostat problem, check the thermostat for continuity. it should have, if not, then replace the thermostat.
