Candy fxp609x oven, clock/timer is on and set but oven is dead no light heat or light coming on the front. Rang up candy and they said it might be the timer?

The model number is usually on the side or rear of the oven.

I have a Candy TCP21x oven and the bottom fan oven has stopped working as well as the digital display, the top oven still works. Any ideas?

problem with the board.. is it under warranty? Have tech get replacement if it is. May have to pay labor.

CANDY OVEN

It will be the oven element that has failed, you need to fit a new one.
It is located at the rear of the oven compartment.

Candy oven noisy fan

Noisy fan means bushes are worn. cant be repaired. needs replacement. Quote model of oven to spare parts supplier and replace. Make sure power is unplugged and not just switched off before repairs are done.

I used the self cleaning mode for 2 hours and the error f2 keeps flashing and beeping, I did try to power off with the breaker and left it off for about a half hour and it still continues to beep and flash f2, what should I do?

On my oven it was the child safety. Hold the plus button for 5 seconds.

Didn’t work powers off and back on then pressed the plus button for 5 seconds and it worked

It happened to mine too and it was the child lock! Pressing + for over 5 seconds sorted it.

Thanks for using FixYa. From what you have described it seems to be an oven temperature sensor circuit failure. To resolve this issue you'll have to check the oven temp. sensor circuit if the reading is more then 1100ohms then it should be replaced however, if the rating is fine then it is the electronic control that has gone bad & should be replaced. Please accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
