Usually if you see frost or ice it is because the Freon level is low. There is a 5 year warranty on the compressor and sealed cooling system so if your within that period, I would call the manufacturer.

Why haier freezer is beeping

Either way if you had the doors opened a lot, it should like you probably have frost build up preventing proper air flow. You'd need to pull everything out of the freezer and remove the lower back panel inside the freezer. If there is frost build up, you'll need to use a hair dryer to thaw all the frost out. The unit will continue to beep until the set temperature (0 and 38) are reached so that could take a while even after thawing out all the frost build up.

If removing panels sounds like more than you can handle, you can always unplug the unit for 24 hours and leave the doors open to allow the unit to defrost on it's own.

GE Profile refriderator PSC25MSWA is frosting/icing on bottom of Refriderator side

Try defrosting entire unit. Put all food, freezer and refrigerator sides in coolers with ice. Unplug unit and wait at least 24 hours for unit to completely defrost, if neccessary open doors, plug unit back in and see how unit functions. By doing this lines that carry freon should become unclogged.

Freezer frosting up and refrigerator is warm

check the condenser fan in the lower back to make sure its running,if it quits the compressor will cycle on and off to cool itself instead of the fan doing this operation, and the unit will warm up inside, then the compressor will again restart and any condensation in the unit will refreeze and cause frost

I have frost on the rear wall of my freezer ( Gallery )

I would say the fan motor has gone bad if it is an older unit the bottom pan of freezer is removable then the back, giving access to the fan, should be an easy fix (10 to 15 screws total) If it is a digital (newer) unit the problem could be in the mother board

Westinghouse aurora frost free freezer.the freezer fan seems to be running all the time and should the compresor turn off occassionaly what should i be looking for, would it be the thermostat. thanks mark

It could be the thermostat. Before getting into that you should check a few other things. Check and make sure the condenser on the unit is clean and has free air around it. On some models the outer skin of the refrigerator or freezer acts as the surface for transferring the heat from inside to the outside air. These should be kept free of those stick um objects and the top is no storage area. On a frost free unit make sure it is frost free. Check the back wall for frost . If there is frost on the back wall the defrost system is not functioning properly. Check the temperature. Depending on what you are storing determines what temperature is necessary.
