Is there network card is installed in it, if yes then you can configure it with your network go to machine Manu in machine control panel and the in network settings here you can give the IP address and subnet mask after then reboot the machine.
If network card is no installed behind the machine then you can use its built-in USB or and parallel printer without NIC card.

First check the alignment front and rear of the finisher, check the finisher exit guide rollers if the paper is exiting properly, open both rear and the front cover and check the lower gears attach is the up/down drive belt. that lower gear one might be broken by the pin slot.

am not sure the printer have a error ia2 pll ng and that is the part it said may need changing when I googled it so trying to locate the correct part for it
Swapping out parts that you are not sure if it is the right part is an expensive pastime. You are better off calling a technician and having a routine service as well. It is a good printer and worth looking after.
