Hi dear. Your machine needs new shock absorbers and drum tension springs replacement. I can advise to contact your local Miele center. Thanks.

SOURCE: off balance during spin cycle

I have a Performa Model PAV3200AWW that would go unbalanced every time it would go into a spin cycle. I found the problem to be a worn out snubber. This is a plastic ring that is at the pivot point for the whole tub. It separates the metal to metal contact at the bottom of the washer pivot point. The part is less than ten dollars, but it is a quit a job to replace. I had to remove the whole tub to replace mine, but it did solve the problem. If you see a lot of plastic shavings around the pivot point, then this could be your problem.

Pump failure?

check under for a broken drive belt
I suspect that it broke and damaged the tub hose to the pump or from the pump to the drain
washer pumps are independent items so it will be something other than the pump

Banging drum when spinning

if the drum in the washer klunks/bangs in ANY brand of washer when it is spinning, your load is off balance. stop the machine, re-distribute the wet clothes so that the weight is evenly distributed, then restar the spin. u may have to do this more than once if u did not evely distribute the weight. this is an easy one. just be sure to stop the spin soon as it starts banging. letting it bang thru an entire spin cycle could result in actual damage to the machine. some of the new machines auto shut off at an imbalance so u can correct the problem. think of spinning a top. u unevenly add weights to it then spin it again, it WILL wobble.

Washer walks on spin cycle, leveled unit and put carpet under it and it still walks on spin cycle only. I have had this washer for 7 years, just started recently doing this.

This is a sign of machine out of balance. If it has been OK for some time, until now, I would look at the balance springs (usually three of four holding to bowl to the outside of the machine, and see if one has come off, or is rusted through. Either fix or replace.
Does the machine spin just fine with no washing in?

Spin cycle

Sounds like the counter balance is off on the washer. If you tilt the washer back underneath by the motor should be a large brick like block. Make sure it is fastened to the frame tight and if it is check to see if all the level adjustments on the legs are adjusted properlly to keep it from moving ,banging around when its spins in the spin cycle.

Many times there are tentions springs under the washer too to adjust the weight make sure one has not come loose.

Hope this helps
