Your leak is most likely in the boot. The rubber gasket between the drum and the front of machine. Sounds like when the element was catching it created a hole in the boot. Common problem also expensive and labor intensive. Sorry to be the barer of bad news.

You will have to remove front panel of washer , and replace the heater, and heater retaining plate, which is the piece that has come off.

Thanks.

When on spin mode the machine makes a terrible grinding noise and won't spin on 1200 speed Hotpoint Ultima WT965 7kg

Turn drum by hand, if you feel it catching, its something between the drum and tub, put in through soap draw usually by children. Can be removed by taking out the heater element to get access under drum.
If it feels rough all the way round when turned and it can be lifted up slightly ( free play ) then its probably the drum bearings and seal failed.

Hot point WF451 Issue. I want change the door rubber between the door and drum. How do I do this? Also the machine is making a noise on fast spin as if there is something in the drum catching. I have...

Hi for changing the door seal check out the video section on www.selfix-uk.co.uk there are a few videos on the wf including bearing change which also covers the door seal as well. As far as the noise in your machine it could be almost any thing...if it's a scrapping noise it may be a bra wire caught between the drum and container, if its a tapping noise it may just be loose wires hitting on the cabinet or you may have a coin between the drum and container if it's a loud rattle, you could also have something in the pump housing...it's hard to diagnose noises without actually hearing them sorry

My Candy automatic washing machine will not spin

Try the drive belt from motor to the drum it could have stretched a little? The noise you can hear could be the heating element catching the inner drum or something like a wire from a bra came loose in a wash and is trapped between the drums ?

Machine makes loud banging noise during the spin cycle

The load is out of balance. Open the lid and redistribute the contents. When it's empty, grab the basket and give it a slight push sideways. It should move a little but, not free swing. If it doesn't have much resistance, the "snubber" has dried out and should be replaced. It is simply a piece of rubber in a metal bracket, that rests on the tub. When the basket spins, the snubber keeps it from jumping around.

Loud squeeking noise on spin cycle.

I had the same problem. Try taking off the agitator and cleaning below thoroughly. I found a little piece of metal wedge in there. Once I removed the metal it spin with no squeak.

Loud banging on spin cycle frigidare washing machine model no. fws235rft2

If this is a front loader this is a common problem. Unfortunately, it is also a very extensive project (about 8 hours). The tripod supports that attache the drum to the center spindle commonly break. The remedy is to replace both the front and rear tub, and the basket as well. It is also recommended that you replace the drain pump as well. Generally, they will cover the parts (not including the drain pump) under warranty but the labor will be a customer pay.
