I tried to locate the manual with google, but unfortunately had no
success. You could ask some specialized manual search engines, like here or here. The services are not for free, but most times worthy - saved my live more than once.
The link below will show a page on how to clean and care for your air purifier. Although the Hepa filter can be cleaned multiple times, the manufacturer recommends you replace it every 12-18 months.
the only other places that you could check would be like a hardware store. kmart, wal-mart. if you have those in your area. ace hardware. places that would normally carry that unit. the big ones mainly are lowes and menards.
hi phil,
you can go onto the bionaire website look up your product and then on that same page it should have manuals. now they have done some changes to the website but you should be able to pull one up. if you have any other questions please let me know
ok i'm not finding that model anywhere in my system. but one way you can try is look in your manual under troubleshooting. if you have gone through all of the troubleshooting. the best thing that i can suggest is call the manufacturer. if your still under warranty they should be able to replace the unit foryou.
if you have a manual it will be on page 2 of the manual under cleaning and maintance. it willhave the picture there. if you don't have the manual. the hepa's go in first and they should snap on and the the carbon lays on top and then you put the back on the unti back on.
if you go onto the bionaire website and in the search bar type in your model number it will pull up a pic. click on the picture and right underneath it it will say your model number and then manual. if it's not there scroll down until you see a customer service box and the first one should say manual. clickon that and it will pull up in adobe reader
I have a Bionaire tower air filter model BAP1700 that I bought from Costco. The filter check LED came on recently after 5 months of use. After cleaning the Permatech filters, I tried every remedy on this website including following the instructions that say push power button for 2 secs. Nothing worked. Then I noticed a tiny hole on the control panel in front of clean filter LED; I pushed a paper clip pin into that hole, felt a click, held it down and 2 secs later, LED went out. Success!
