Manual reset process
Cameras manufactured prior to the year 2000 do not have reset buttons or options in the menus. Follow the steps below to reset:

Remove the battery pack.
Remove the button-sized lithium battery.

Reinsert the button-sized lithium battery.
Reinsert the battery pack.
Turn on the camera.
NOTE: If your camera is experiencing an issue and it is not resolved by performing the appropriate reset or initialize procedure above, service may be required.
In camera settings menu, on the bottom of the screen you find Settings. In Settings is the only reset the camera knows. You only will reset the menus and shooting options. Date, time, language and video output settings are not reset.
If your camera has serious trouble, accessing menus or something like that, there is nothing like pressing a button for several seconds and everything will be ok. (not in the manual)
If you mean the password to the menus, please access the Web Server of your printer by entering the IP address on your browser. Once the web server is accessed, click on Settings > Security > Access Controls, make "No Security" is selected on all Menus.

Some menus on the X8310 and X8350 are repeated in the Copy Mode, Scan Mode, Fax Mode and Photo Card menus.

The ink levels should reset when the ink jet cartridge is installed.
Go to Canon.com under support call repairs for price on repair. If too costly, possible to sell for as is parts on a site like Ebay. Possibly you can reset the menus which may make a difference. Reset menus to factory or default.
I don't know this message, and am going to guess what can be done. I searched on the Olympus site for such a message, none. Not sure what it means.
I believe this has to do with a setting in the menus. Turn the camera on, go to the menus and set all to factory default, or something like that such as reset or reset all.
Test the camera after setting and set the menus to what you want.
There definitely must be a setting to reset the fuser counter. I cant tell you where to look as I am not familiar enough with that model. Check in the counter menus or the maintenance menus, or a reset menu.
