How can i reset factory setting on my sony dsc55 camera

Reset button on the camera

  1. Locate the RESET button on the camera.
  2. Use a pointed object (like a ballpoint pen) to press and hold the RESET button for 2-3 seconds.
  3. After 2-3 seconds has elapsed, release the RESET button.
Initialize or Reset option(s) in the camera menus
  • The menu layout is different between cameras so check the operating instructions.
  • In general, there will be a Reset or Initialize section within the menus of the camera.
  • Some cameras allow for resetting or initializing different options such as wireless settings, the settings used in taking the last picture, or all settings. Be sure to look at all available options in the product manual.
Manual reset process

Cameras manufactured prior to the year 2000 do not have reset buttons or options in the menus. Follow the steps below to reset:

    1. Turn off the camera.
    2. Remove the battery pack.
    3. Remove the button-sized lithium battery.
    4. Allow the camera to remain without power for 30 seconds.
    5. Reinsert the button-sized lithium battery.
    6. Reinsert the battery pack.
    7. Turn on the camera.

NOTE: If your camera is experiencing an issue and it is not resolved by performing the appropriate reset or initialize procedure above, service may be required.

Factory reset

In camera settings menu, on the bottom of the screen you find Settings. In Settings is the only reset the camera knows. You only will reset the menus and shooting options. Date, time, language and video output settings are not reset.
If your camera has serious trouble, accessing menus or something like that, there is nothing like pressing a button for several seconds and everything will be ok. (not in the manual)

Reset password

If you mean the password to the menus, please access the Web Server of your printer by entering the IP address on your browser. Once the web server is accessed, click on Settings > Security > Access Controls, make "No Security" is selected on all Menus.

Flash stuck won't open on rebel xt

Go to Canon.com under support call repairs for price on repair. If too costly, possible to sell for as is parts on a site like Ebay. Possibly you can reset the menus which may make a difference. Reset menus to factory or default.

'Write project'

I don't know this message, and am going to guess what can be done. I searched on the Olympus site for such a message, none. Not sure what it means.

I believe this has to do with a setting in the menus.
Turn the camera on, go to the menus and set all to factory default, or something like that such as reset or reset all.

Test the camera after setting and set the menus to what you want.

There definitely must be a setting to reset the fuser counter. I cant tell you where to look as I am not familiar enough with that model. Check in the counter menus or the maintenance menus, or a reset menu.
