Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis. http://electro-medical.blogspot.com/ http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced.

Before you replace the power board, there are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue with your Westinghouse WD55UW4620 TV:
Adjust the picture settings: It's possible that the picture settings on your TV have been accidentally adjusted, resulting in a dark picture. Try going into the TV's menu and adjusting the brightness, contrast, and other picture settings to see if that helps.
Check the backlight: The backlight is responsible for illuminating the pixels on your TV screen, and if it's not working properly, it can result in a dark or dim picture. You can check the backlight by shining a flashlight on the screen and seeing if you can make out any images. If you can see images, then the backlight is likely the issue.
Check the cables: Make sure that all the cables connecting your TV to external devices are securely plugged in and not damaged.
If none of these troubleshooting steps work, then it's possible that the power board is the issue. In that case, replacing the power board may fix the problem.
Normally it could be a lot of things, but most of the times is the backlight that goes off.
Turn the TV on, chose a channel and once you have sound and no picture try to look really close to the screen and see if there is an image there and just the backlight is OFF. (sometimes a dim ambient light and a flashlight pointing at the screen helps to see, try various angles until you can check if there is an image or not runing on the screen).
If you have image and no backlight, then depends on what type of LCD you have.
Backlight can be with CCLF lights (really thin flourescent lamps) or LED (horizontal led strips beyond the LCD panel).
Either way you will have to check the power source and probably dismantle the hole LCD screen witch is made from a few VERY SENSITIVE layers (they break quite easy, specially the first one, the LCD layer) and replace the lamps/led strips (all of them would be the best choice, but could get expensive).
You can find many tutorials on Youtube on how to do it, could be a nice 50$ to 100$ weekend project if you have experience with electronics, still a risky and possible dangerous one, remember TVs still have charge in them after unpluging them so if you dont have experience or knowledge about it, dont try it, leave to a professional.
If you can see the faint picture in flash light means the power supply and the main board is working. The real culprit is the backlight. Even one bad LED in the backlight will switch off the whole array. To repair this fault the panel has to be opened and the defective LED or LEDs are to be replaced.
This is a complicated, delicate and risky job and must be attempted by an expert only. You may end up damaging the screen permanently if you have not done it before and try to DIY.
Hi Rick,
It appears to be a case of backlight failure. since you have replaced all the boards, inverter is ruled out. Some of the LEDs in the backlight array may have gone bad. Fault is repairable, but needs care and experience of opening and repairing the LED panel. Good luck.
