Yes, your screen is dead. You really don't have any options other than to return it to the manufacturer for repair. :(

There is most likely algae in the cooling liquid for the t.v. It should be a pretty simple fix by swapping out the cooling liquid.

when you are in the playback mode, you can use the zoom function (as you use it when you take a picture), this will zoom into the image you took.

It sounds like the blue CRT (picture tube) is failing. The part number for this is 8-733-575-25 but you will need a technician to replace it for you as there is mechanical and electrical alignment to with with it. The convergence is off. The convergence is basically the assimilation of the image on the screen from the three "guns" behind the screen. There should be a menu option to align the convergence in the image portion of the menu. If this does not fix the issue, then your convergence chip might be on it's last leg.
