Don't let it get to hot or it could burn and completely ruin your glue gun but heat it up and use a small pointed object to push it out that wont burn easily.

If you can take a drill with a 1/8” or smaller bit and get a hole drilled a half inch or so into the core of the pencil, then you can get a screw turned into it and use pliers to pull on the screw, which should also pull the pencil out.

How I was trying to push hard glue out of my glue gun with a new pencil but then the eraser got stuck and I didn't realize so then I pushed it in again and the metal part came out and now I don't know what...

Sometimes the rubber nozzle removes easily and once removed the metal nozzle behind the rubber can be unscrewed with a wrench or pliers.
With the nozzle removed and the glue gun is hot it should be possible to push the eraser and the metal ferrule back through the heated tube of the glue gun.

If the nozzle can't be removed it poses some difficulty as a rod or stiff wire will be needed that will go through the hole in the nozzle to push back the eraser. It will probably be a fiddly job and it might not be possible to push the eraser right out but if it can be moved back a little it could be possible to hook it out with the same wire after bending it so there is a small hook on the end.

You made an honest mistake and your parents shouldn't be angry.

If you find you can't remove the eraser; if you have a car repair shop nearby, I am sure you will find help there. Once hot a quick blast of compressed air through the nozzle should clear everything from the heated tube.
Good luck!

Hi, I got a pencil completely jammed my glue gun and I turned it on and slowly pulled it out a little bit but is still stuck do u have any tips!!

First try and get as much glue that is left in between the left over pencil and the tip out. Then find something that is the same diameter as the tip of the glue gun and about 6 inches longer that the length of the gun. With the glue gun OFF jam the object into the tip of the glue gun until it comes out the rear of the gun. Whatever you find to do this needs to be stiff like wire or something of the sort.

How does a glue gun work?

A hot glue gun is a very useful tool for joining modelling materials and even more substantial materials can be fixed together with it. 'Sticks' of solid glue are pushed into the back of the gun, the trigger is pressed pushing the glue stick forward and molten glue comes out of the nozzle. The glue is manufactured from thermoplastics.

Dear Experts, I need assistance from you ppl.I stay in India. I bought a medium quality glue gun and a glue stick. I plugged the gun to the power socket(220v)and waited for the glue to come out of the...

It takes a couple of minutes for the gun to heat up. When you first plug it in, touch the metal nozzle with your hand. It should become obviously hot within 15 seconds and too hot to touch within a minute . After it fully heats up (a couple of minutes), squeezing the trigger should advance the glue stick and push molten glue out of the nozzle. However, there is often an initial resistance to the trigger and you may have to squeeze a bit hard to get it started. If there is a problem with the trigger mechanism, you can also advance the glue by pushing directly on the back end of the glue stick with your thumb. Good luck.

Glue Gun Question

Gather the materials needed and place them on a flat surface near an electrical outlet. Examine the glue gun. Locate the metal rest. This is usually attached to the barrel of the gun and is shaped like a "W." Make sure it folds out and locks into place. Locate the trigger. This is just behind the barrel on the underneath side of the gun. It should be a solid piece of plastic shaped like a slice of pie. Just above the trigger, is the barrel loader. This is where the glue sticks go into the gun. Inside the barrel loader there is a smaller round piece of plastic. This is what actually pushes the glue stick through the barrel. Pull the trigger and watch the piece of plastic move with it. Pick up the electrical cord and examine it. Make sure the prongs are secure and not bent. Make sure the cord has no breaks in the outer lining and there are no frays at the base of the gun where the cord attaches. Plug the glue gun into the electrical outlet. Allow the gun to heat at least 15 minutes so it reaches operating temperature. When the gun has heated at least 15 minutes, insert a glue stick as far as it will go without forcing it. Now pull the trigger until a small drop of hot glue forms on the tip of the gun. Practice gluing on the paper plate. Pull the trigger until a ball of glue forms on the plate. Release the trigger and quickly press the tip of the gun down onto the surface of the plate and pull it to the side. This will break the glue and stop it from stringing out when you pull it away. Continue practicing until you get the right amount of glue you want for the object you imagine using. When you pull the gun away, there may be a small string but this will break off easily. When you have the perfect amount of glue and only a tiny string forming when you pull away, you are ready for your project.
