sounds like the sleep timer is activating before the boot is finished try touching the screen and then switch the timer up or if it networked go to the machine web page and turn the timers up from there then try again
To change language: Press "Utility/Counter" Press number 2 key, then number 1, then number 1 again. This will get you to the language selection without having to read the screen. Once there select your language. If this does not correct the problem, you may have a board or Nav Ram problem and should contact someone for service.
CD231 at power up. Solution: CAUSE: Complete fax kit was not installed.
SOLUTION: These three items make up the complete fax kit, FK502, MK706 and MK704. If not installed together, the C250/C252 will display code CD231. hope that helps
